Payment: We will begin work when all assets necessary are delivered and when half the project bid is paid. The remainder will be paid upon completion of project. Multiple invoices will be created for billing.
Turnaround: Effective turnaround time can only begin once all assets are delivered (including text, images, logos, product graphics/descriptions, design files etc.). Turnaround and deadlines will be discussed and set with approval prior to work beginning and after Quote is accepted.
Additional Work: Additional work, outside the scope of the quote, is subject to hourly rates and/or separate quote. The client will be notified of this and time estimates prior to any additional work beginning. (Our hourly rate is $75. We bill to the quarter hour, so you’re not stuck paying an hour’s fee for fifteen minutes worth of work).
Communication: Seven Places Productions prefers to work with one liaison. Communication will be face-to-face, via email, instant messenger and/or telephone. Seven Places Productions keeps all communication and information acquired during the course of the project fully confidential.
Copyright, Delivery, Miscellany: All finished imagery and code will be delivered to the client when final payment is made. Applicable copyrights on graphics, source files and scripting, unless otherwise negotiated and specifically granted, will remain the developer’s. Developer will have the opportunity to use this work, including any discovery work in their portfolio for use as development example(s).
Hosting & Domain Registration:
Domain Registration - we recommend the client register their own domain through a registration service such as GoDaddy.com. Registration fee through GoDaddy.com can vary from $1.99/year to $10/year.
Hosting - 7Places, LLC does not directly provide hosting, but offers & highly recommends 3rd party hosting solutions through Dreamhost.com. Recommended hosting plan fees will be $120/year or $9.95/month. This includes unlimited email addresses, unlimited domain hosting, 500+GB storage, and much, much more!
If desired, 7Places, LLC will register your domain and setup hosting for you by providing the proper CC information, or otherwise assist you in the setup process. Hosting & Domain Registration fees are in addition to (and separate from) any project quotes. More information on why 7Places, LLC chooses to abstain from direct hosting and domain registration can provided upon request – and in rare cases, exceptions to abstention can be made when deemed necessary.
Contractual: We require a written contract with our Website projects, which will be provided when both the client and design firm come to an agreement on the website outline, specific features, timeline and cost.
