Our latest project was with Kansas City’s oldest car audio store, National Auto Sound & Security. They contacted us to help re-brand their web presence and give their visitors a much-improved experience on their site.

Built using Wordpress as its content management engine, this site has a custom designed theme and various modified plugins to fit their needs. Search engine optimization (SEO) was a major strong point for NASS, and we were able to deliver and meet their requirements. Their original site had already ranked highly in the search engines, and it was very important to not lose those rankings. We approached the design and build very strategically, making sure of every possible point for SEO, as well as a thorough list of page-to-page redirects.

We were able to give National Auto Sound a broad home page that gave a good overview of the site, while retaining a visually appealing appearance. We built and adapted some custom scripts and functions to provide sections that scroll and slide on user-interaction. These sections were used to promote popular items, featured products, specials and promotions, and brand logos.

National Auto Sound & Security specializes in all things car audio, video and security, including: car stereo, car amplifiers, car subwoofers & car speakers plus car alarms, auto security, remote car starters, keyless entry, in car navigation, in car video DVD systems, backup cameras, car satellite radio, car HD radio, bluetooth, ipod & mp3 integration and adapters, car LED lighting, car window tinting and more.

In partnership with Five Loaves Creative, we assisted in developing a unique site … Rainbow Town.

Built using Wordpress as its content management engine, this site has a custom designed theme with multiple user-level access as well as customized plugins to help run this very specific and targeted site.

As war raged, she had to make a choice; to protect the orphaned children forced into her life or abandon them and go in search of her own family.

Her name is Ma Feeta and today, she lives with 86 of the children at a rural West African farm called Rainbow Town.

Filmed in the upcountry of Liberia, Rainbow Town welcomes you into their lives, revealing how they survived one of Africa’s bloodiest civil wars and how they cope as a family in its aftermath.

Narrated by Ma Feeta, three of the children – Alice, Taylor, and Faith – and Liberia’s President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf; the story unearths the price of war, while illustrating the strength of the human spirit.

Ever heard of eBay? Well, this is eBay for farmers who want to buy and sell hay and feed for cattle.

This was a long and late nights process because of the requirements for the site and the auction software that was provided to us. Trying to fit the design of the site into the very limiting auction software “templating” system was like forcing a star block into a triangle hole … but we got it done with some fancy code massaging.

Immanuel Baptist Church in Duncan, Oklahoma came to us to update their web presence. They had a previous content management system, but lacked in flexibility and quality in design.

We decided to build this new site on a Wordpress engine using custom calendar function, content management, RSS parsing, online listening tools and rotating content on the homepage to make this site appear to stay fresh each time the site is visited.

Their main concern was that it was a modern feel (to the homepage especially), so we created it with an image based layout using quality graphics to represent various links and content portions.

As well, they wanted the site to be interactive, so we added the scrolling news, links to their Facebook group and calendar.

eDCSD (Douglas County School District’s online school) was a cooperative project between 7Places and PlattForm.

Drupal was chosen for this site as its content management system. Drupal provides flexibility in a multitude of areas on the site where each section of the site can be applied to specific pages easily through a backend admin section.

Various customized modules are in-use on this site – most importantly is what runs the Video player. We chose Dash Player to run this as that is what was overwhelmingly the best solution.
