At 6:40, probably one of the longest songs I’ve ever written/recorded. I wrote Come Down in October of 2002, and recorded it with my former band (autumnSoul) in November of 2002. This song is in E but I am planning on taking it down to C when I re-record it for my new album … whenever that gets done.

These audio archive recordings were pretty much done by running the sound system through the computer and capturing the audio using Cool Edit Pro (now Adobe Audition).

I wrote Boulevard to Mexico in December of 2001. I really don’t remember my inspiration or motivation behind this song, except I know that I wanted to do something that wasn’t a typical Jamon song. This definately achieved that. This recording is with my former band (autumnSoul) in November of 2002.

I wrote Oklahoma Wildflowers in 1997 with my good friend and original band-mate, Rayden Hollis (audience of One). Rayden wrote most of the lyrics, and I filled out the lyrics and put it to music. We were obviously more concerned with rhyming than we were with accurate theology. This recording is with my former band (autumnSoul) in November of 2002.

I wrote White Sands in June of 2001 while on a mission trip in Cancun, Mexico. I know, I know … Cancun, right. We actually stayed in a hotel right on the beach in Playa del Carmen, then bused into the residential area of Cancun, where living conditions were very minimal. This recording is with my former band (autumnSoul) in November of 2002.

I wrote We Will Remember in 2000 as a tribute to my good friend, James Brill, who was killed in a canoe accident while leading at a youth camp in Vermont that summer. I got news of his death, wrote it and played it at his funeral a few days later. I got a little carried away with this recording. After recording it with my former band (autumnSoul) in November of 2002, I went back in and overdubbed some things with huge ideas of enhancing it … I think it was better before I jacked with it in post-production.

I wrote Halo in 1995. I don’t really have much explaination for why I wrote the song. I did get a little carried away with the effects in post-production. This recording is with my former band (autumnSoul) in November of 2002.

I wrote a little bit of God in a Box in 1997 with my buddies Rayden Hollis and Rusty Gunn from my days in ‘audience of One’. I didn’t do much with the original writing, but I arranged it for this recording and use it occasionally for middle-school worship sets. This recording is with my former band (autumnSoul) in November of 2002.
